I have been buying salmon from Duffy at Alaskan Salmon Co for 26 years now. The quality has never varied and the fish is always delicious. It would be very hard to get a fresher piece of salmon in Denver. In the last few years I have also been buying frozen shrimp from him and they are also great. Stu

It's not a fancy-looking place but don't let that fool you - this is an amazing seafood store! We always get our salmon here, it's always fresh and not expensive. I especially appreciate that when I make salmon soup they will throw in some salmon heads and bones for next to nothing or free. They have a great assortment of frozen seafood, haven't tried it all but the large shrimp are amazing. They also make their own smoked salmon, it's really good. The service is friendly and personal and they are also very good at adapting to the pandemic - you can order online and get curbside delivery if you wish and they are good about wearing masks. This is truly a neighborhood gem!

My husband and I stumbled upon this spot a couple weeks ago while looking for some veggies to plant. We picked up a huge salmon fillet for $10/lb. I brined it (50/50 salt and brown sugar), smoked it, and it ended up being the best salmon we've ever had. Not fishy tasting in the least which is great bc we recently got one from Sam's that was pretty fishy. This will be our only stop for salmon (and veggie plants) from now on. So glad to support this small business and the owner was so friendly and helpful!

I was going to wait after trying a few more items from here before writing a review, but I'm just too excited! You guys, Alaskan Salmon Company is a hidden gem that I wish I learned about much, much earlier. It's a seafood wholesaler that usually supplies to restaurants, and it turns out that restaurants have been getting better quality seafood than we were able to find in grocery stores. We ordered two pounds of Canadian salmon and two pounds of what is just described as "jumbo scallops" but ended up being these beautiful U-8 scallops. (I weighed them after drying them off, and there were seven in a pound.) The salmon was fresh and we turned it into a delicious meal with little effort, but can we just talk about the scallops some more? While it wasn't indicated whether they were wet or dry, I think they may be dry scallops. Prior to cooking, the scallops had a pinkish hue. I didn't have to do much to draw the moisture out before searing, and the sear turned out perfectly. In addition, my husband said that the scallops reminded him of ice cream because it had a sweet and creamy taste to it. This local business is now at the top of our list of seafood. We're already putting together another order for more salmon, the tuna poke cubes, and...you guessed it. Scallops.

How have i lived this close to such amazing Salmon at such an amazing price? Not sure is the answer. I went in first thing on a Monday am. I was told fish comes in twice a week...one of those days is Sunday. So Monday fish is prefect. I ended up pan searing and serving with homemade chimichurri. I am a huge fan and will be back VERY OFTEN.

Coors banquet sign**** is the land mark to find this place! It's a little sketchy in the sense you wouldn't normally stop here to get salmon, but very obviously fresh wild salmon without any of that fishy taste! Look for the white wood sign that says "FRESH SALMON"!!

This was by far the best, freshest, most delicious salmon I've ever had. Wild salmon caught from Canada, Oregon, Alaska and Washington, Duffy knows everything there is to know about his wonderful, delicious SALMON! From now on, this will be the only place I go to for all my salmon purchases.
